Camposanto (Modena), the Carabinieri meet the population to prevent scams and thefts against the elderly.

On the morning of May 23rd, in Camposanto, in the Ariston room, with the patronage of the Municipality of Camposanto, The Carabinieri of the San Felice sul Panaro Station, led by Commander Lieutenant Luca Calzolari, held a conference to raise awareness among the population on the risks of home burglaries and scams to the detriment of the weakest sections of the citizenry.

At the meeting, which was attended by around 30 people, practical advice was provided on how to defend oneself from criminals and on how to recognize dangerous situations. During the conference, the Carabinieri explained the most common ways in which scams and thefts are perpetrated, underlining the importance of keeping our guard up and adopting preventive security measures.

Those in attendance had the opportunity to interact with the military, asking questions and sharing personal experiences. The initiative is part of a broader program of meetings promoted by the Carabinieri to strengthen security in the area and improve collaboration between law enforcement and the local community.
