Cancello and Arnone, the white stork found malnourished in recent days was released into the wild. 

Good news for the White Stork recovered in recent days inside a reclamation canal in the municipality of Cancello and Arnone (EC), malnourished and in obvious difficulty, perhaps due to some trauma from impact with suspended electrical cables.

In fact, after the veterinary care administered by the Regional Reference Center for Urban Veterinary Hygiene of Naples and by the “Federico II” Wild Animal Recovery Center of Naples, having completed the necessary rehabilitation process, the female White Stork was released into the wild near the site of its discovery.

In addition to the veterinary doctors, the Forestry Carabinieri of the local Castel Volturno Unit and the Local Maritime Office of the Coast Guard of Castel Volturno also intervened on site.

After the first moments of hesitation, the Stork took off in a beautiful flight which reassured everyone about his recovered state of health.
