Campobasso City that reads, purchase of books for the municipal library and media library.

Thanks to the decree of the Ministry of Culture, concerning the support of books and the entire book publishing chain, the Municipality of Campobasso has obtained a loan of 2023 euros for 8.464,15 which can be used for the purchases of new books to be allocated at the municipal library and media library of Campobasso.

The Department of Culture of the regional capital, through this and other projects, confirms its commitment to the promotion and education of reading, thus achieving important objectives: increasing the book heritage available to the city year after year; fuel a virtuous circle between local commercial entities and the promotion of reading since the sums received will be spent in the city's bookshops, confirming the desire to always operate online in the area; promote inclusiveness also through the selection and purchase of texts for specific learning disabilities selected together with training professionals.

“In these four years, thanks to Mic funds – declares the Councilor for Culture Paola Felice – our Library and Media Library has managed to implement its book heritage exceeding twenty thousand volumes, also making available to users an important bibliography dedicated to disorders specific to learning with texts also intended for those involved in training in this area".
