Bari: Mayor Vito Leccese visits the Carabinieri Legion Command “Puglia”.

The Mayor of Bari, Dr. Vito Leccese, visited the Carabinieri Legion Command “Puglia”, which is based in the historic “Caserma Bergia” on Lungomare Nazario Sauro.

The Commander of the Legion, Brigadier General Ubaldo Del Monaco, received the Mayor in the presence of the Officers of the General Staff and the Provincial Commander of Bari.

A courtesy visit which served to strengthen the bond between the institutions and to take stock of the main issues related to the security of the entire territory of the metropolitan city.

The Mayor of Lecce, in thanking General Del Monaco and his staff for their renewed willingness to fully collaborate in order to guarantee even greater safety for all citizens, expressed his feelings of esteem and appreciation for the work carried out by the Carabinieri; a daily activity carried out in favor of the community of Bari for which he addressed a heartfelt thanks to the women and men of the “Merita”.
