Pesaro: at 'Incontri Capitali' Paolo Gentiloni and Matteo Ricci discuss 'Europe in a changing world'.

Europe at the center of the next event 'Capital Encounters': the European Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni and the mayor of Pesaro Matteo Ricci will discuss the topic 'Europe in the changing world' (Alusfera in Piazza del Popolo, entrance from the back of the stage). An opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis of the role of the European Union and the challenges that it is called upon to face in the global context. The meeting will be moderated by LA7 journalist Alessandra Sardoni.

Paolo Gentiloni he has been European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs since December 2019.

He was President of the Council of Ministers from 2016 to 2018 and, previously, Minister of Communications and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Matteo ricci, mayor of Pesaro since 2014, former president of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino and vice-president of the Democratic Party, is coordinator of the PD Mayors and president of ALI Italian Local Autonomies.

The meeting was hosted by Alessandra Sardoni, a correspondent from the political editorial team of TgLa7 and a well-known face in television journalism thanks to programs such as 'Omnibus' and 'Otto e mezzo'. In the two-year period 2013-2014 she was the first woman to hold this role , president of the Parliamentary Press Association.

'Capital Encounters' will continue on Saturday 6 April with Massimo D'Alema and Marco Tarquinio who will discuss 'World disorder' (18pm, Alusfera in Piazza del Popolo).
