Ancona: from Monday 8 January three schools, transferred after the earthquake, will move into new premises.
Ancona. Return to school with a new location for three schools in the city that were transferred after the earthquake of 9 November 2022. These are the XXV Aprile and Sabin nursery schools and the Agrodolce nursery school. The Christmas holiday period was used to transfer the furnishings and reorganize the spaces. The Councilor for Educational Policies, Antonella Andreoli with the councilor for Public Works, Stefano Tombolini, will be in the new headquarters of the XXV Aprile schools in via Torrioni at 11.00 am on January 8th.
In detail, the XXV Aprile nursery school, which was currently located at Le Verne in via Tiziano, because after the earthquake it was unusable, finally from 8 January it will be in the new headquarters in via Torrioni which has been renovated with seismic adaptation and plant engineering works with a intervention costing approximately one million euros.
They will move 58 children in three sections, who will find all the furnishings and appliances in the new headquarters. The entire catering service will be active, as well as the office with the refectory, where they arrive and are sorted meals prepared by the Gramsci kitchen.
The Sabin nursery school, located near the Savio, is moved to the new wing of the Domenico Savio. Also in this case, work was carried out seismic adaptation and energy efficiency. The Sabin will subsequently be demolished and rebuilt thanks to PNRR funds to which are also added those of the Municipality for the construction of a new nursery school.
Here since January 8th 121 children and 6 sections will move: also in this case there is an office with a refectory where the meals arrive from the Gramsci kitchen and are distributed to the children. The intervention for the development of the spaces had a cost equal to 1 million and 300 thousand euros.
The Bittersweet nursery from Monday 8 January the nursery structure will be on the ground floor of the Volta lower secondary school in Collemarino it will thus be vacated, demolished and the school rebuilt with funds from the PNRR and the municipal administration. On the ground floor of the Volta, the Municipality carried out a plant and functional adaptation to make the ground floor better usable as a nursery. Here they will move 39 children and 10 educators, with kitchen where meals are prepared. The surgery took place a cost of approximately 120 thousand euros.
