The Highway Code Tour Arrives in Bolzano

Greater knowledge of the regulations for better operations in the field. This the objective of the event “The Code leads the way…on tour”, held last week in the main hall of the Free University of Bolzano, kindly made available by the management of this university.

A tour that covers the entire national territory born from the collaboration between the Traffic Police Service of the Ministry of the Interior and the “Egaf editions”, to know more the news of the Highway Code with a speaker Dr. Giandomenico Protospataro, former director of the traffic police, one of the leading experts in the field of road traffic regulation, author of numerous publications and articles on the New Code.

An audience in uniform, composed mainly of traffic police operators but also by the Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Local Police, Fire Brigade and Forestry Corps (coming from all over Trentino Alto Adige), was able to delve into highly topical and interesting topicsand, including the new rules in the field of mandatory insurance and those of the Remote detection of speeding violations.

Words of great appreciation for the realization of this initiative were expressed by the authorities present including: the Police Commissioner of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, represented by the Deputy Police Commissioner Dr. Daniela Mengoni, the interim Director of the Trentino Alto Adige and Belluno Highway Police Department Dr. Carlotta Gallo, the General Technical Director of the Brenner Motorway, Eng. Carlo Costa and, representing the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Dr. Markus Kolhaupt, Director of the Motorization Department of Bolzano.
