Vicenza: Stivalaccio Teatro receives the award from the National Association of Theater Critics.
Stivalaccio Theatre, established company from Vicenza, was awarded the prize ofNational Association of Theater Critics (Anct) for popular theatre, commedia dell'arte, children's theater and street art.
«In recent years, the Stivalaccio Teatro company has brought the commedia dell'arte back to light, attracting the most expert audiences to the theaters and conquering the passion of many new spectators – comments the councilor for culture, tourism and the attractiveness of the city Ilaria Fantin - . In Vicenza for seven years during the summer it has organized the always appreciated and popular Be Popular, a popular theater festival, which is part of the Municipality's program of summer events. But the company has a notable impact even beyond the walls of our city, with careful and scrupulous research work that makes the name of Vicenza resonate at a national level. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Trilogy of Comedians, Stivalaccio will be at the Teatro Olimpico - continues the councilor - on Sunday 5 November at 21pm, for the special staging of Don Chisciotte - tragicomedy of art, one of the most successful shows of the company".
The show is part of Olympic Laboratory, organized byOlympic Academy in collaboration with the Municipality of Vicenza.
