Sassari: membership of the "Grandma and Grandpa Vigili" service is open.

This is an initiative of safety, closeness and solidarity, born in 2016 with a specific municipal regulation.

The activity is aimed at residents in the Sassari area, between 50 and 80 years old, who will actively collaborate with the local police to minimize dangers when entering and exiting schools. But not only.

The vigilant grandmothers and grandfathers will also monitor parks, gardens and municipal green areas generally frequented by children, thus achieving a greater presence in the places most subject to risk, to report any anomalous situations and inefficiencies.

A further presence that will allow an even more timely intervention by the municipal administration to resolve any problems.

The documentation can be delivered until December 31st at the front office of the Local Police Headquarters at Via Carlo Felice 8 or sent via certified email to protocollo@pec.comune.sassari.it.
