Marciani: “From the Bagnoli reclamation, concrete job opportunities for young people and beyond”.

The works for the reclamation of the former Italsider in Bagnoli will not only be a great opportunity for the redevelopment of a vital area for Naples, but will also provide a concrete employment opportunity for the inhabitants of the area. In the Porta del Parco Auditorium, there was the first of two days dedicated to the profiling of aspiring workers, technicians and administrative staff who will be included in the workforce thanks to the social clauses provided for in the tenders of the Municipality of Naples and the Government Commissioner for the environmental reclamation and urban regeneration of the Bagnoli-Coroglio area.

“Thanks to an agreement signed with the Bagnoli Commissioner's Office and the Municipality of Naples, the companies that will carry out most of the reclamation work have made themselves available to hire young people, and not only, from the area – explained Labor Councilor Chiara Marciani – For this reason we have organized meetings, together with the employment agencies who are selecting the staff to be hired in the various positions made available by the companies. We hope that this will be an important opportunity, not only for the companies that will carry out the works and give a new life to the Bagnoli area, but also for the many people who will be attending the interviews today and next Monday".
