Lecce: the OLTRE project presented
The “OLTR.E.” project – Work Orientation Training Empowerment”, for which the Municipality of Lecce obtained a loan of 91 thousand euros as part of the regional public notice "Cardinal points: orientation points for training and work". The presentation was held this morning at Officine Cantelmo.
For the realization of the project were identified via public notice during the drafting phase of the una project "net" di Partner which includes The Qube APS, Confcommercio Lecce, Innova.Menti Ets, Aforisma, Tdf Mediterranea, Società Cooperativa Officine Cantelmo, Ce.FAS – Training and High Specialization Centre, Factory 47 and the Ascanio Grandi musical secondary school .
Aimed at the population dai To 6 34 years resident in the province of Lecce, BEYOND intends to provide specific routes for different targets: from elementary and middle school students, to NEETs, to citizens under the age of 35 who are looking for their first job. The end is stimulate the acquisition of soft skills who are sought after on the job market today, spread knowledge of new opportunities, facilitate access to new tools that allow job supply and demand to match.
In in line with the indications of the Cardinal Points announcement, are expected 60 "Orientation Labs” with 300 hours of activity, some of which were already carried out in June at Officine Cantelmo. The workshops aim to transmit knowledge and skills through the techniques of gamification, walkabout, visual languages and performing arts, and project work.
To laboratory activity the project supports organization and implementation di 8 "Job Days”. Among these, some will allow the meeting of students or workers with the "excellence of the territory" of Puglia; others, however, will see all the project partners involved at Officine Cantelmo in the creation of a Startup Weekend on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial skills, with the possibility for young people to present entrepreneurial ideas that will be selected and which will be guaranteed support by the partners for project development. A day of meetings between students and potential workers with companies that represent local excellence, with the support of the trade associations that are partners.
At CantelmoFurthermore, a “Orientation Desk” of a continuous duration of six months, with the aim of accompanying citizens in the transition from school to work, enabling them to make informed and effective choices, following their aptitudes, skills and professional abilities.
"Punti Cardinali is an experimental measure that has reached 166 municipal administrations in Puglia, with an investment in the province of Lecce alone of approximately 4.732.000 euros - declares the councilor for Training and Labor Policies Sebastiano Leo – We wanted to turn to the Municipalities to intercept and involve people without work, the NEETs but not only, because we believe that it is the local administrations that are aware of the realities of belonging. A project that is carried out thanks to the creation of a network between administrations, territorial stakeholders, active in regional employment systems, in education and training, third sector bodies, businesses, trade associations and trade unions. It is a measure that invests in human capital by trying to match the aptitudes of the territory and of the people, enhancing their potential, working on the many fragilities, reaching NEETs but also those who are unable to return to the world of work, to restore their confidence. With Punti Cardinali, which after this first experimental phase will be a structured measure, we want to seize the opportunities offered by the territories and ensure that they are a gateway to the economic and social circuit."
