Campobasso: Molise Food and Wine week, food, traditions, biodiversity, ecosystems and health.
The Municipal Administration of Campobasso, thanks to the intervention of numerous experts and with the coordination of prof. Sebastiano Di Maria of the Larino Taste School is placing emphasis on the protection and valorisation of various supply chains such as honey, beer and wine.
“We are very satisfied with the response in terms of audiences for the afternoon events and we are even more satisfied with the participation of schools – says councilor Antonio Vinciguerra. This morning's event entitled 'Food plants and nutrition' organized by Unimol was a great success and fueled the students' curiosity".
The students themselves are the true protagonists of the Food and Wine Week program, not only as listeners, but also as first-person authors of the promotion of Molise cuisine, both traditional and innovative. The themed tastings present every evening are the result of the creations of the students of the Vinchiaturo Hotel Institute.
“The setting up of the room and the reception of the public, however, are handled with skill by the MoliseRadici Association “Among the objectives of the initiative – underlines Mayor Paola Felice – there is to create a network between institutions, producers of excellence and the world of school both in the perspective of continuation of studies, with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Food of the University of Molise engaged in the front line with events dedicated to schools, both with a view to entering the world of work. Networks and synergies that enrich our cultural heritage linked to food."
