Cagliari: Estia is the new testimonial of the Municipal Kennel's adoption campaign.
Her name is Hestia, she is about six months old and medium in size. She entered the municipal kennel at the end of January 2023 and is now waiting for someone who can take care of her by joining the adoption campaign for the four-legged guests of the municipal kennel in via Po 59. Promoted by the Wildlife Management Service of the Municipality of Cagliari, the initiative wants to raise citizens' awareness of adoptions.
The new guest looking for a home is, in fact, Hestia who was found in the city, without a microchip, together with her two brothers. The three puppies, shy and wary, are currently guests of the municipal facility. Hestia, although inclined to socialize, is a reserved dog. But in a family context there is excellent room for improvement in this aspect of his character. Optimal, for her, would be an adoption into a family of adults, residing in a house with a garden, possibly in the company of another dog who can help her gain experience by providing her with a reliable and balanced model to refer to.
It is not suitable for families with children or too hectic life contexts because they would not allow her to have new experiences with the right gradualness. The puppy is given up for adoption with up to date vaccinations and a microchip. The owner will have the obligation to sterilize the dog which will be carried out free of charge at the kennel as soon as it has reached the right age to undergo the operation.
The office hours for adoptions are from Monday to Saturday from 10 to 12, by appointment, by contacting the municipal kennel by email at the address: canile@comune.cagliari.it or by telephone at the numbers: 070 677 8115 – 070 677 6469.
