Bianca d'Aponte Award: Chiara Ianniciello winner of the 19th edition. The “Fausto Mesolella” critics award goes to Irene Buselli.
Caserta. She was Chiara Ianniciello (from Salerno) to win the 19th edition of the Bianca d'Aponte Award – City of Aversa, the Italian contest reserved for female singer-songwriters, scheduled for Cimarosa theater in Aversa on 27 and 28 October 2023. To her too Plaque for the best music.
A Irene Buselli (from Genoa) went instead to the critics' prize “Fausto Mesolella” , plaque for the best text (from this year dedicated to Oscar Avogadro). However, he was awarded the plaque for best interpretation Cristina Cafiero.
One goes to the overall winner scholarship of 1.000 euros, participation as a guest at next edition of the Award, the proposal for a year of management consultancy and press office by Freecom, the possibility of participating in the Prize of Prizes at the Mei in Faenza and, as guest, allthe 2024 edition of Music for Change, realized by Music against the mafias.
For the Critics' Award "Fausto Mesolella” instead, there is a scholarship of 800 euros and the possibility of performing as a guest at the Nilla Pizzi Award.
Then there are various prizes awarded to some finalists directly by entities external to the organization or by individual jurors. TO Francesca Giannizzari goes the “'Na stella' Award of the Virus Studio, with the recording of a song with the artistic production of Ferruccio Spinetti; a Irene Buselli a prize of Soundinside Basement Records consisting of the creation of a live video in the studio ea Alessandra Nazzaro that of the women's label "Maieutica Dischi” by Veronica Marchi (winner of the first edition of the Award) for the production and publication of a song.
In addition to Veronica Di Nocera there is a proposal for a year of legal and managerial assistance from Siedas and to Ilaria Argiolas that of a possible artistic collaboration with the label Sounds from Italy by Mariella Nava.
They were also in the running Arianna Battilana of Mockingjay and Santanna.
The role of godmother this year fell to Nina Zilli, who on Saturday evening performed, together with his songs, "The mirror”, a song by Bianca d'Aponte (the singer-songwriter to whom the event is dedicated), while the career award for City of Aversa went to Mauro Pagani, who proposed three songs.
The remaining guest parterre is also important. Both evenings were opened by Moà, winner of the last edition.
Friday 27 a representation of the students took to the stage Cirillo High School (who performed “Canto di fine winter” by Bianca d'Aponte), Massimo Germini, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Cristiano Godano and Dutch Raquel Kurpershoek, winner of the Bianca d'Aponte International Award.
On Saturday 28th, together with Zilli and Pagani, it was Flo and Mariella Nava's turn. A resident band, coordinated and directed by Alessandro Crescenzo, accompanied some competitors and some guests.
Il Bianca d'Aponte Award is organized by'Bianca d'Aponte Association, in collaboration with ReteDoc, and is also supported by SIAE – Italian Society of Authors and Publishers e NewImaie. The artistic direction is by Ferruccio Spinetti, the management of the two evenings was entrusted to Carlotta Scarlatto and Ottavio Nieddu.
This year too the event had media partners Rai Radio 1. Of absolute level the two juries that awarded the prizes of the organization.
