San Vincenzo: drug dealing in Rimigliano park, two people reported by the Carabinieri.

As part of a service also aimed at combating the phenomenon of drug dealing, the Carabinieri of the San Vincenzo Station reported two people at large, a 35-year-old of African origins and a 34-year-old Italian woman, both with criminal records, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
While walking along Via della Principessa in the immediate vicinity of Rimigliano Park, also to verify some reports received from citizens regarding suspicious movements of individuals dedicated to the consumption and sale of substances in that area, the military noticed a couple leaving on foot from entrance no. 3 of the park.

The two then got into a car parked nearby and drove off, when, at the sight of them, the passenger clumsily threw something out of the window in an obvious attempt to get rid of it.

At that point the carabinieri stopped them in order to proceed with their check, but not before having recovered what they had previously seen thrown away, which was ascertained to be two heat-sealed packages containing over 28 grams of heroin, which were seized.

The car was driven by a 34-year-old woman who did not have a driving license as she had never obtained one. She was also fined under the Highway Code, while the car, which was not registered to her, was subjected to administrative seizure and entrusted to third parties.
Both were charged with the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing, for which they will have to answer to the Judicial Authority of Livorno.
