Livorno: Fatal accident, 80-year-old woman killed after being hit by a Fiat 500

On the morning of October 18th at 9.30 am, Municipal Police officers on motorcycles, following a call from the Operations Room, went to via Mameli at number 31 where an accident had occurred pedestrian investment.

When they arrived on site they found a person on the ground, unconscious, assisted by healthcare personnel and a Fiat 500 car driven by a man.

The driver of the car, who remained at the scene of the accident, had hit the pedestrian.

The person hit was found to be a 80's woman.

The Fiat 500 car, in the post-impact position, was located at 11,50 meters from the pedestrian crossing located at number 31/C of Via Mameli.

Subsequently, an Inspector from the Command went to the Emergency Room, where he learned the news of the death of the lady who was hit. The magistrate on duty was notified and it was seized the half investor.
