Collesalvetti: Culture of legality, the Carabinieri meet the students of the fourth and fifth grades of elementary school
Prevention is the principle that inspired the initiative of the Carabinieri of the Livorno Company who have again faced the theme of legality at school with the 70 students attending the fourth and fifth grade elementary classes of Nugola and Guasticce in the municipality of Collesalvetti. The initiative is part of the dissemination of “culture of legality” which the Carabinieri has been pursuing for some time on the national territory in agreement with the Ministry of Education and Merit. The Commander of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Carabinieri Company of Livorno, Lieutenant Gianraffaele Di Risi, addressed issues of legality with the young students, the very current issues of bullying and cyberbullying, as well as the potential dangers of the web and in general the risks connected to the use of technology, increasingly accessible to young people and the very young thanks also to information material specifically prepared for that age group. Among the various current issues regarding legality discussed and explored with young students There was no shortage of interventions and questions that the curious young people asked the Officer on the constant and intense work that the force carries out both for the prevention and repression of crimes and what tools and operational means it employs.
Thanks to the collaboration of the Provincial School Office, school principals and teachers, Benemerita is committed to raising awareness among new generations, starting from the youngest, to illustrate risky behaviors for a growth characterized by greater civic sense and greater awareness.
