Shortly after, the woman was met near her home by the same driver who, after having followed her without being noticed, he made her believe that she had bumped into him during their previous meeting and, as proof, he showed her a black streak on his car. The lady, in good faith, believed she had caused harm to the man and made herself available to activate the insurance but the interlocutor immediately dissuaded her by asking for immediate cash compensation.

The victim then offered everything he had with him at that moment, namely 250 euros. The man, having taken the money, walked away. The woman However, having become suspicious of the whole dynamics of the episode, she turned to the police who immediately started investigations. Thanks to the elements provided by the victim herself, including the license plate of the other car, appropriately integrated with the investigations carried out, the military personnel of the Collesalvetti Station traced the alleged perpetrator, who was already known for specific precedents in the field of fraud. The man will have to answer to the Livorno Judicial Authority for the crime of aggravated fraud.
