Convinced of the goodness of the deal, the victim then proceeded to make a purchase transfer for the agreed amount without any confirmation that the goods had been shipped and, upon her request for explanations, the contact was blocked.

Given the situation, the buyer has reported what happened to the Carabinieri of the Castagneto Carducci station who started investigations into the conversations that took place and the movements of the money, managing to ascertain first of all that the advertiser's profile was not genuine, as it was in fact a profile artfully created with the details of a third person and that the alleged person responsible for the scam would be a 47-year-old resident in Veneto, no stranger to similar conduct, who will have to answer for the crime of fraud and impersonation.
