Cecina: 21-year-old arrested for drug dealing during youth checks.

In the context of services aimed at control of the territory to combat the spread and supply of drugs, with particular attention to places of youth gathering, Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Cecina Company they arrested a 21-year-old resident of Cecina for possession for the purpose of drug trafficking.

The young man had attracted the attention of the soldiers who, during a targeted service, had noticed him in suspicious attitude while he briefly met another boy, presumably his age, exchanging something with him. Having ascertained that it was the handing over a dose of hashish, the Carabinieri have decided to proceed with further checks, extending the controls to personal and house searches.

The suspicions were confirmed when the officers found in the boy's possession 62 grams of hashish divided into various doses, approximately 200 euros in cash, considered likely to be the proceeds of previous sales, a precision balance e notes relating to the accounting and data of the illicit activity, also referring to alleged customers and buyers.

All the material found was subjected to seizure for further investigative investigations, while the young man was arrested in the act for possession for the purpose of dealing. Once the formalities were completed, by order of theJudicial Authority of Livorno, the suspect was placed under arrest.

The arrest was validated by the GIP At the end of the hearing held in recent days at the Livorno Court. In respect of the rights of the persons under investigation, the young man is to be considered presumed innocent until a final determination of guilt with an irrevocable sentence, considering the current stage of the preliminary investigations.
