Cecina: they steal from a club, but are caught by the Carabinieri still in possession of the stolen goods. A 30-year-old and a 38-year-old arrested.

As part of the intensification of external services in the urban areas of the province aimed at combating crimes in general with particular emphasis beware of predatory crimes, ordered by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Livorno, the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of Cecina have arrested in flagrante two North Africans aged 30 and 38, both censored and resident in the area, for aggravated theft in flagrante.

On Saturday night a patrol of the Cecina Carabinieri emergency response team intervened in Piazza Garibaldi in Vada following a Reporting for suspicious noises coming from a bar/ice cream shop, which was closed to the public at that time.
Once on site, the soldiers noticed two individuals who, with a bag in their hands, were walking away from the indicated area and stopped them for a check.

Inside the bag there were 3 bottles of spirits, 8 cans of beer, a new padlock and a sum of 64 euros, the origin of which, given the circumstances, aroused suspicion. From a quick check carried out in the premises, the military established that it was goods just picked up, especially since the French window at the back had been forced open and on the floor there were the wire cutters presumably used in the break-in. The stolen goods and the money, the latter constituting the cash fund of the shop, were immediately returned, after identification, to the owner, while the two men were declared under arrest.

The arrest was validated by the Court of Livorno at the request of the Prosecutor's Office.
