The Carabinieri of the Campiglia Marittima Station have reported while at liberty un 35 year old of North African origins and resident in the province of Rome, since he is seriously suspected of stolen.
In particular, a patrol of the Arma intervened around 22.30pm near via Parini in the locality San Vincenzo, at the request of the intervention of the emergency number 112 NUE, following a report by a private citizen who had initially noticed a man to wander suspiciously among parked cars on that street and, subsequently, tinkering around inside the cockpit of one of these.
Once on site, the Carabinieri actually tracked down the reported suspicious person and once they had ascertained that the car had neither been forced nor damaged, given the circumstances and the charges for property crimes, they accompanied the suspect to the barracks for further investigations.
So as a result of personal search the man, in the process of regularization on Italian territory, was found in possession of well 4 turned off smartphones he had in a backpack, for the possession of which he was unable to provide a valid justification. Said phones were seized, also for the subsequent investigations aimed to identify the legitimate owners, while the man was reported at liberty for receiving stolen goods.
