Campo nell'Elba: Fight between 7 young people, reported and banned from entering the disco
Last Halloween night, in a well-known disco in Campo, for reasons that are still unclear, perhaps because he had paid too much attention to a girl, two groups of young patrons, seven in total, all Italian, faced each other. The fight broke out in the disco's bathrooms with kicks, punches and bottles thrown. It was the timely intervention of the Carabinieri alerted by the club's employees that avoided further consequences; in the initial brawl, an employee of the club had suffered minor injuries. Several Carabinieri patrols intervened on site who stopped some boys, who in the heat of the moment were intending to fight each other even outside the club.
Investigations have since been launched of the Carabinieri who reconstructed the entire incident, conducted by the Campo Elba Carabinieri Station and the Portoferraio Operative and Radiomobile Unit. These investigative activities allowed the identification and then complete identify the seven protagonists of the brawl; it's about young Italians between the ages of 21 and 28, who would have faced each other in front of the many other patrons of the place. At the end of the in-depth investigations for all the suspected perpetrators he was reported at large to the Judicial Authority for aggravated brawling, a crime that carries penalties of up to 6 years in prison.
Given the seriousness of the fact and considering the level of social dangerousness of the subjects who could repeat such dynamics, on the proposal put forward by the Carabinieri who carried out the intervention and the subsequent investigations, accepted by the competent State Police Authority, for the young people the preventive measure of the Prohibition of access and loitering at the disco for a period of between 12 and 18 months, issued by the Police Chief of Livorno, has also been triggered. In the event of violation of the ban imposed by the DACUR provision, penalties of up to a year and a half of imprisonment could follow.
