Rosignano Marittimo (Livorno), obscene acts and threats towards the staff of a business, also staging extortion requests: 30-year-old North African reported.

The Carabinieri of the Rosignano Solvay Station, after a thorough investigation, They reported at liberty a man of North African origins over thirty years of age, believed to be responsible for obscene acts and attempted extortion against a shopkeeper.

The facts date back to a few days ago when the Carabinieri intervened at a bar in the area where a customer, in the evening hours close to closing time, had shown himself reluctant to leave the slot machine room, even demanding to be reimbursed for the sums he claimed he had lost gambling.

According to the reconstruction of the facts, the man allegedly staged behaviors contrary to public decency in the presence of the employees and, subsequently, threatened to set fire to the premises, demanding immediate reimbursement of the substances allegedly just lost on the gaming machines (around 250 euros). With threats of physical aggression that he would have accompanied with eloquent gestures, also throwing a piggy bank and a bottle of beer that he had in his hand, he would then have tried to move away when the carabinieri arrived to avoid being reached by the patrol, alerted by the injured parties.

Once tracked down, he was fully identified also with the help of video traces recorded by video surveillance in the area and reported to the Judicial Authority of Livorno for attempted extortion e obscene acts.
