Livorno: Violates the prohibition on approaching his ex, house arrest confirmed for the 50-year-old

The activity of the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Livorno continues throughout the province, in line with the directives shared at the Committee for Public Order and Security at the Prefecture of Livorno, aimed primarily at protection and safety of vulnerable sections of the population also through constant monitoring and control activities and services of all persons resident in the territory who are subject to precautionary and security measures following previous events in which they emerged as perpetrators of threatening and sometimes violent conduct towards other people. In this operational context, the Carabinieri of the Capoliveri Station they have executed, against a man in his fifties originally from Elba, already burdened by numerous prejudices, a provision that aggravates the precautionary measure of the prohibition of approaching the injured party and the obligation to reside in the municipality of residence, commuting it to the more restrictive one of house arrest.

The operation was triggered by a provision issued by the Livorno Judicial Authority to which the Carabinieri had reported multiple violations of the measure, to the detriment of the man's former partner. In particular, the suspect allegedly behaved aggressively and threateningly towards him on several occasions, violating the measure being executed. Following the assessments of the repeated conduct of the accused in violation of the provisions, the Judicial Authority no longer considered the current measure suitable and sufficient, ordering that the man was to be confined to his residence in Livorno and remain there under house arrest.
