The first Livorno City Trophy was presented: the third inter-regional foil, sabre and epee event.

The great fencing show arrives in Livorno with the First Livorno City Trophy, to be held on 22 23 and March al Modigliani Forum. The event, valid as third interregional test di foil, sabre and epee, will be attended by over 600 Under 14 athletes ready to challenge each other to conquer the podium.

A special trophy to celebrate the event

Organized by the Fides Fencing Club in collaboration with the Tuscan Regional Committee of the Italian Fencing Federation, the competition got the sponsored by the Municipality of Livorno and Support from Confcommercio. A unique opportunity to bring great fencing back to a city that boasts a historic tradition in this discipline.

In addition to the prizes awarded to the winners of the individual competitions, the Fides Circle will assign the First Livorno City Trophy to the company that obtains the best overall score in the two days of competition. The trophy is offered by the sponsor Future Facility. Furthermore, thanks to theANSMES (National Association of Stars, Palms and Golden Collars of Merit of CONI and CIP), three special prizes will be awarded to the best ranked companies for each weapon.

Event schedule and details

The races will start on Saturday 22 March at 9: 30, after a brief opening ceremony attended by local authorities. The meetings will take place over the entire weekend, offering two days of high-level entertainment and competition. Entrance to the Modigliani Forum will be free, allowing all fans to witness this important event live.
