Livorno: Road safety education meetings in the Local Police Square.

A Livorno, in the days immediately preceding the Christmas holidays, the Local Police will hold some educational meetings in the square, real moments of discussion and knowledge to raise awareness among citizens, especially the youngest, of the importance of respecting traffic rules as the first form of prevention in the event of road accidents.

The officers will be present in the square with the help of theMobile classroom for urban and road safety, to provide information on proper behavior on the road and in urban environments. The multimedia tools within the vehicle, through the projection of interactive factsheets and videos, allow the culture of respecting the rules to be spread beyond the classroom.

Le specially made slides for these training events they concern road signs, the main rules that regulate traffic, the correct use of safety devices — helmet and seat belts — in addition to the main causes of road accidents and the correct behavior to adopt in urban environments, especially in city parks.

During the meetings gadgets will also be distributed to the little ones.

The meetings will take place from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Piazza Grande on the following days:

• Saturday December 13

• Friday December 19

• Saturday December 20

• Monday December 22

• Tuesday 23 December
