Livorno: arrested by the Carabinieri for having disregarded the judge's orders.

The Carabinieri of the Livorno Operational and Radiomobile Unit arrested a 35-year-old of North African origins in execution of a provision of aggravation of the precautionary measure of the prohibition of approaching the injured party issued by the Court of Livorno.

The man, in particular, was subjected to the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and the prohibition of approaching the injured party by virtue of a precautionary order issued by the Judge of Livorno last September, resulting from a series of reports relating to his repeated conduct in clear violation of the imposed provisions.

There are also pending complaints against him, as well as, above all, checks carried out by the Carabinieri of the Livorno Company, constantly engaged in external activities of territorial control, whose services, with a view to providing an effective return in terms of security, are also oriented towards the execution and verification of controls and in-depth investigations towards individuals burdened by precedents and subject to precautionary and security measures.
In the case of the foreigner, who also lives in the central area of ​​Livorno, the Carabinieri collected various and seriously circumstantial elements against him which were promptly translated into communications intended for the relevant Judicial Authority.

Since the behaviors directed at the injured party sometimes assumed not only threatening tones but also much more serious and violent, the inadequacy and unsuitability of the current measure emerged, leading the Court, on the proposal of the Livorno Public Prosecutor's Office, to issue an aggravated restrictive measure against the accused.
Furthermore, he is among the defendants in the trial against those responsible for the unintentional homicide that caused the death of the young man from Livorno who fell badly from the fourth floor of an apartment in the area of ​​via Giordano Bruno towards the end of August 2022, as a result of the detailed and complex investigations conducted at the time by the Carabinieri of the Operations Section of the Livorno Company when a crew of the emergency response team of the Arma was diverted from the operations center to reach the place where the tragic event had occurred.

The 35-year-old of North African origins, already widely known to the Carabinieri also for his prejudices on drugs for which he had shown an evident inclination to commit crimes, from the latest events would have also highlighted a personality with markedly violent traits and intolerant to compliance with the prescriptions; so much so that the Judicial Authority, reassessing his position on the basis of the information of the Carabinieri, issued against him the most afflictive measure of precautionary custody in prison, the only remedy considered suitable to avoid the repetition of criminal conduct.
The Carabinieri therefore arrested him in execution of the order to increase the precautionary measure and, once the formal procedures were completed, confined him to the Sughere prison in Livorno.
