As part of the constant territorial control services carried out by the Carabinieri in all areas of the city, the Carabinieri of the Station of Ardenza, at the end of an intervention carried out in Viale Carducci, they arrested two people, a man and a woman, respectively 31 and 33 years old, resident in Livorno and both with previous convictions, for threats, violence and resistance to a public official.
The events occurred late in the evening, around 22:00 pm, following the intervention request, received by the Carabinieri Operations Centre from 112 NUE, which reported aassault on a girl on the street.
I police They promptly arrived on the scene and identified the girl and the two people who had allegedly attacked her while she was walking along the avenue with her boyfriend.
The two alleged attackers, in a clear state of psychophysical alteration, probably due to the abuse of some substance, at the sight of the soldiers they became even more agitated, becoming more and more aggressive so much so that it was necessary to intervene, in assistance, also by other police forces.
Initially, the two allegedly assumed only verbally aggressive behavior towards the officers, making threats and resisting to hinder their actions and escape control, but subsequently the 31-year-old also allegedly kicked one of the operators.
The two were taken to the barracks for the ritual acts and then declared in arrest in flagrante delicto.
By order of the Livorno Judicial Authority, they were placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing, at the end of which the GIP of the Livorno Court ordered for the man, pre-trial detention in prison, while for women the obligation to report daily to the Judicial Police.
