The Lieutenant Special Charge Renato Bonomi, after more than forty years, most of which spent in Livorno, leave active service.

Enlisted in the 1984, was assigned to Basilicata at the stations of San Chirico Nuovo (PZ) and of Tolve (PZ) but shortly after, having distinguished himself for his seriousness and high professionalism, he was admitted to attend the Carabinieri Non-Commissioned Officers School of Velletri.

As a non-commissioned officer he continued his career progression by serving at the Carabinieri Station of Livorno-Centre and the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Livorno Company, first holding the position of crew chief and, subsequently, for almost 17 years that of Commander of the Livorno Radiomobile Unit.

From 2020 he was the Commander of the Command Unit of the Livorno Company and, for some periods, also held the Interim Command of the Livorno Carabinieri Company.

On the occasion of the farewell greeting, the Provincial Commander of Livorno, Col. Piercarmine Sica, thanked Lieutenant Bonomi for the professionalism demonstrated in his long military career and presented him with the Crest of the Provincial Command.
