Livorno, a 20-year-old reported for drug dealing and a restaurant fined 2 euros.

The Carabinieri of Livorno, within the framework of aintensification of services, have carried out targeted checks in the Town center, focusing in particular on Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza XX Settembre and the adjacent areas. The operation, carried out in evening hours, had as its main objective the fight against drug dealing , road safety, with a focus on episodes of bad nightlife.

During a check in Piazza della Repubblica, it was reported for possession for the purpose of dealing un 20 year old of North African origins, found in possession of 50 grams of hashish, already divided into doses, and of over 700 euros in cash, considered to be the gain of the illegal activity.

In addition, 4 people, of aged between 24 and 39 years, they were reported to the Prefecture including drug users, after being caught with 5,6 grams of hashish intended for personal use. The drug was seized for the analysis and subsequent destruction.

Within the same controls, the NAS Carabinieri of Livorno, following checks for the protection of public health, he found irregularities in a restaurant in the Venice neighborhood, sanctioning the owner for the Failure to implement the HACCP protocolThe venue was fined for 2.000 €.

The Carabinieri checks will continue in the coming days to ensure greater security and combat illegality.
