Saturday 18th January at 16:30pm, the civic library “U. Pozzoli” of Lecco host Stefano Colombo, one of the founders of Centometres Editions, an independent publishing house that is redefining the way sports are told. The publishing house stands out for its attention to the themes of disability and for telling stories that break stereotypes, placing the focus on courage, resilience and personal growth through sport.
This commitment takes on particular significance at a time when global attention is focused on Milano Curtain 2026 and Winter Paralympic Games, events that celebrate the talent and determination of athletes capable of inspiring the entire world.
A meeting between sport and inclusion
During the meeting, Stefano Colombo will present some of Centometri Edizioni's editorial projects, focused on stories that demonstrate how sport is not just a competition, but also a powerful tool for inclusion e social transformation.
The event represents an opportunity to reflect on how sport can break down cultural and physical barriers, promoting a more inclusive society and enhancing paths that, beyond the results, express human potential in all its forms.
A project supported by the Lombardy Region
The initiative is part of the project Future Library, funded by the regional tender Single culture notice 2024 thanks to the contribution of the Lombardy Region.
