Merate: Extraordinary territorial control service. 4 drug users reported and 60 grams of drugs seized
I Carabinieri of the Company of Merate, they performed late yesterday afternoon, a coordinated extraordinary control service of the territory aimed at prevention and fight against petty crime, as well as increasing the perception of safety.
The military, supported by a Anti-drug unit of the Canine Unit di Casatenovo, have carried out a series of checks in many sensitive areas of the Merate area, including the railway stations of Osnago, Cernusco-Merate, Olgiate-Brivio-Calco and Airuno, aimed at preventing the commission of "predatory" crimes, drug dealing and verifying compliance with road traffic regulations and those for the protection of the working environment.
In this context, a total of 83 people and 25 vehicles were checked, 4 people reported to the prefectural authority as drug users, found and approximately 60 grams of various types of narcotic substances seized, and 4 public establishments were inspected to verify compliance with work environment regulations.
