He came on November 23rd released from prison due to early termination of his sentence, a dangerous individual, irregular on the national territory, which in the past had entered Italian territory from the Ventimiglia border.
The same, 54 years old, of Moroccan nationality, was already known to the police as he was burdened by various criminal records, in particular for crimes against property, as well as for being non-compliant with the order of the Police Commissioner to leave the national territory.
The Immigration Service, pending deportation, reserved a place at the CPR of “Ponte Galeria” (RM). He was therefore notified of the expulsion decree issued by the Prefect of Lecco since he was considered a socially dangerous person and of the detention order at the CPR issued by the Lecco Police Commissioner.
In relation to the above, personnel from the Lecco State Police therefore proceeded, yesterday, to accompany the subject to the aforementioned "Ponte Galeria" Repatriation Permanence Centre, for the activation of the subsequent procedures aimed at his repatriation to the country of origin.
