Nardò, Tatiana Tramacere was found alive in an attic: she had been kidnapped. The 27-year-old is doing well. A 30-year-old man was arrested.

Fear, tension, frantic searches, suspicions and finally relief: the story of Tatiana Tramacere, the 27 year old from Lecce who disappeared on November 24th and was found alive in Nardò, in an attic where she was allegedly held captive. The young woman is doing well and is now under medical observation, while the Carabinieri continue their investigations to reconstruct the details of what happened.

According to investigative sources, Tatiana was found in a house located in the same building where she lives. Dragos-Ioan Gheormescu, 30 years old, the young man who was the last to meet her before her disappearance and who was taken to the barracks in Lecce for questioning.

The entire community, which had experienced moments of great anguish in the last few hours, burst into a liberating applause at the news of the discovery.

The discovery: Tatiana was in the 30-year-old's attic

Late this afternoon, the Carabinieri raided the building in Nardò where 30-year-old Gheormescu lives. In an attic of the building, hidden and inaccessible to most, they found Tatiana Tramacere.

According to initial information, the young woman was held under seizure right in the 30-year-old's apartment. Her physical condition is good, but as a precaution, she was immediately reached by 118 paramedics, who entered the building shortly thereafter to perform initial medical checks.

Around 18 pm, news of the discovery spread quickly throughout the neighborhood, attracting an ever-growing crowd to the young man's house.

The crowd's explosion of joy: "She's alive!"

When confirmation emerged that Tatiana had been found alive, the crowd gathered along the street erupted in prolonged applause. Many of those present could not hold back tears of relief. There were also Vladimir, the young girl's brother, visibly shaken but heartened by the news that his sister was finally safe.

Residents documented with cell phones and eyewitness accounts a moment that marked the end of a days-long nightmare. The Neretina community, deeply involved in the incident, had feared the worst, especially after the circulating wild rumors—later denied—of the discovery of a body.

The unfounded rumors about the body and the lawyer's denial

In recent days, tensions had also risen due to some messages circulating on social media, which spoke of an alleged discovery of the girl's body.
A false news, immediately denied by the Tramacere family's lawyer, Thomas Valente, and also confirmed by the colonel of the Carabinieri Siazzu.

These rumors had fueled the anxiety of the family and the community, making the climate even more tense.

Tension outside the house: insults, shouts, and suspicions

Minutes before the girl's discovery, tense moments erupted outside the home of 30-year-old Gheormescu. An angry crowd had gathered in front of the building, shouting insults and attempting to approach the entrance while the Carabinieri RIS (Italian Special Operations Unit) conducted a thorough search.

According to some witnesses, many people believed Dragos was actually inside. However, it's possible that the crowd's unintentional target was Tatiana's brother, who entered the building during one of the most turbulent moments. Dragos may have already been transferred to the police station for questioning, as suggested by sources close to the investigation.

The investigation now aims to reconstruct the kidnapping

At the moment, the investigators' focus is on reconstructing: including Tatiana was taken to the attic; how long was held there; under what conditions was held; se there were accomplices; thing happened in the hours immediately following the disappearance; because the 30-year-old did not report anything even though he was the last one to meet her.

The kidnapping—if confirmed—would constitute a very serious crime. The next few hours will be crucial in clarifying the dynamics of this incident, which has left an entire region in suspense.
