Lecce: A 65-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri on serious suspicion of abuse of a minor of only 7 years old

The arrest is the result of a complaint filed by the minor's mother, an act of great courage that allowed investigations to begin immediately.

I Carabinieri, under the direction of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lecce, worked with great determination to collect decisive elements that led to the request for the restrictive measure.

In support of the investigation, a computer search at the suspect's workplace. With the help of an IT consultant, cell phones used by the suspect were seized, containing material likely to be child pornography, which will be the subject of further investigative investigations.
