Lecce: The State Police executes an order to remove a 47-year-old from the family home due to his violent behavior toward his elderly mother.

In recent days, the State Police have executed an enforcement order for removal from the family home and prohibition on approaching the injured party and the places frequented by the same, issued by the Court of Lecce against a 47-year-old unemployed man, due to repeated mistreatment committed against his elderly cohabiting mother.
Last month, the man arbitrarily decided to leave the therapeutic drug rehabilitation community where he was staying, to return to the home of his 76-year-old mother.

From that moment on, continuous threatening requests began, accompanied by heavy verbal intimidation, threats and abuse of all kinds, all aimed at obtaining cash for the purchase of alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances.

This forced the elderly lady to turn to the State Police more than once to ask for help and report the facts.

Among the episodes submitted to the scrutiny of the Judicial Authority, a series of physical and verbal attacks that had forced the woman to sleep inside her car for several days and to eat frugal meals, secluding herself in suburban areas, to avoid any form of contact with her violent son.

Nonetheless, the continuous thefts of cash and valuables kept by the victim inside her home had created a climate of fear within the domestic walls, which had in fact generated in the 76-year-old a sense of prostration and psychophysical discomfort, making her even more fragile and sickly.
At the end of the ritual procedures and having assessed the man's social dangerousness, the Oral Notice of the Police Commissioner was notified, not excluding that the application of a further preventive measure aimed at subjects with qualified dangerousness could also be assessed against him.
