Lecce, 2 young people arrested for brutal attack on a peer.
The Lecce Police carried out ahouse arrest order with electronic bracelet towards 2 young Italians, 20enne and a 25enne, both residents of Lecce.
The operation is the result of ainvestigation conducted by the Flying Squad, which identified the 2 as responsible for the brutal attack to the detriment of a 21 year old from Lecce, which occurred on the night of February 8th near the New Paolone bar.
From the reconstruction of the facts, it emerged that the 2 attackers had had an initial contact with the victim at 21pm near Porta San Biagio. After about 2 hours, the meeting took place again in front of the bar, where the 21-year-old was headbutted and punched in the head while he was with his friends.
The victim reported serious injuries and trauma, remaining hospitalized with a reserved prognosis for a few days. The investigations were crucial testimonies from friends and images from video surveillance cameras the area.
Il GIP has ordered the precautionary measure considering the dangerousness of the 2 suspects and the risk of repetition of the crime. Furthermore, the Police Commissioner issued an oral warning to them, ordering them to behave in accordance with the law.
