Galatone: murder on agricultural land, alleged perpetrator arrested.

For reasons still being investigated, likely linked to neighborhood issues, a fight broke out between the two. During the argument, the 45-year-old allegedly Danieli hit with an iron axe in the head, inflicting a fatal blow to the back of the head.

The arrest of the suspect

A subsequent one house search in the man's home has allowed us to find and seize the murder weapon.

The victim's body was transferred to the“Vito Fazzi” hospital in Lecce for the autopsy examination, as required by the PM of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lecce, who is coordinating the investigations.

Currently, the 45-year-old has been subjected to arrest by the Public Prosecutor and taken to the Lecce Prison, pending further investigative developments.
