Lecce: 40-year-old man arrested for abusing and threatening his partner.

Despite her critical conditions, the 52-year-old expressed her desire to report her partner and filed a formal complaint at the hospital police station. The report revealed a picture of submission: the relationship, although it had started a few months earlier, was already marked by daily violence, physical and psychological. The woman reported that, due to the 40-year-old's obsessive jealousy, she had lost relationship with friends and relatives.

He also told of previous episodes of abuse, never reported, and that the partner had phone stolen for three days, preventing her from asking for help.
From the checks, the man was found to have numerous precedents, be subjected to the home detention and already have a precedent for abuse in the family.

In light of the investigations, the 40-year-old was arrested for the crimes of “Family Abuse, Personal Injury, and Threats”.
