Soleto (LE), 46-year-old arrested after breaking into a self-service laundromat.

The Carabinieri of Lecce intervened immediately and 46 year old arrested in the act of Tricase, already known, responsible for Theft aggravated.

This is what happened late yesterday evening in Soleto where the military arrested a 46enne held responsible for the Theft aggravated in a self-service laundry.

The Carabinieri, alerted by some passers-by, started a timely investigation, also through a targeted observation service and pediment, which led them on the trail of the man. The 46-year-old was in fact blocked by the Carabinieri while, with the face still covered by balaclava and with a backpack on his shoulders, he was moving away in an attempt to cover their tracks.

Subjected to a search staff, the man was found in possession of burglary tools and Cash, about 50 euros, which he had stolen after having the automatic cash register was damaged. The damage caused was a few thousand euros in total. The military also returned the stolen money to the owner.

At the end of the police operations, theman was arrested and taken to the prison in the Salento capital.
