Venafro: Adopted son abandons disabled mother following argument, 20-year-old reported

125 people were identified, 90 vehicles were checked and numerous fines were issued under the Highway Code. In one case the driving licence was withdrawn for drunk driving due to alcohol consumption and three young people, between the ages of 20 and 30, were reported as users to the Territorial Office of the Government since found in possession of a narcotic substance, intended for personal use, for approximately 5.50 grams of marijuana.

This is the balance sheet of the extraordinary service of territorial control for the prevention, repression and contrast of crimes in general, especially those against property, activated last weekend by the Carabinieri of the Venafro Company.

During the activities, just outside the town of Venafro, a crew was stopped by an elderly lady who, in a panic, reported that she was unable to provide for herself because she was disabled and that she had been abandoned on the spot shortly before by her adoptive son, following an argument.

After a brief search and targeted investigations, The military tracked down the young twenty-year-old and reported him at liberty to the Judicial Authority for abandonment of an incapacitated person, not before making sure he took his mother home.

During the numerous road checks, the Carabinieri of the Venafro Company they stopped and reported to the Judicial Authority a thirty-year-old who, despite having a blood alcohol level, ascertained with the supplied instrumentation, equal to 1,76 gr/l, he had driven the vehicle which, moreover, did not have the mandatory insurance coverage.

Detailed checks were also carried out in the entire nightlife area, with particular attention to Corso Campano where most of the public places are concentrated.
