Born a Milano the festival dedicated to children's rights and youth participation Terre des Hommes. "You are right. Milano for the rights of children, girls and adolescents”. With events spread across various parts of the city, the festival is organised by Terre des Hommes, together with the Guarantor of the rights of children and adolescents of the Municipality of Milano and it's scheduled 22 from October to 26 inserted in a week full of initiatives of the Municipality of Milano dedicated to childhood themes.

The programme focuses on the well-being of children and adolescents and will tackle a different theme each day, through meetings in schools and events open to the public, workshops, theatrical performances and sports activities.

Tuesday October 22 The Festival will open with a focus on the role of businesses and the opportunities of Artificial Intelligence for the future of young people. The events of the first day, sponsored by Sustainability Makers, will be hosted by Fondazione Riccardo Catella, active since 2005 with the mission of spreading the culture of sustainability in the development of the territory, in particular through education and social inclusion of young generations.

The day of the 23 October will be dedicated ai rights and youth participation, with a meeting, organized in collaboration with the Benemeriti Citizens Association of Milano in the Conference Room of the Royal Palace from 10 am to 12 pm, by title "Fragility and youth poverty: the commitment of the Benemeriti and the example of the Spazio Indifesa Hub in Milano”, in the presence of Silvio Premoli, Guarantor for the rights of children and adolescents of the City of Milano, Richard Bettiga, Regional guarantor for the protection of minors and the vulnerable, and Elena Buscemi, President of the City Council.

Thursday 13th October the meetings will be hosted at the former tobacco factory, a significant place that the EOS Foundation – Edison Orizzonte Sociale, in line with its mission, promotes as a centre of cinema and culture for the city of Milano through numerous youth activation and participation projects. The day will be dedicated to the theme of child abuse, the most effective strategies for prevention and contrast.

Friday 25 again at the Riccardo Catella Foundation the events will focus on mental health, a crucial topic for the new generations, with discussions on issues such as Youth hardship, social withdrawal and the challenges related to the digital world. In the evening, at the Teatro Munari, the show “On the Net”, a theatrical performance to address the issues of bullying and cyberbullying, created in collaboration with the Teatro del Buratto. The festival will end Saturday October 26 with a big party in the name of participation. It starts with Unconventional MUSA event with the participation of GEOPOP and ScuolaZoo, to discover of science for human rights through MUSA, the university museum of anthropological, medical and forensic sciences for human rights. In pomeriggio art therapy workshops and the Peace Tournament are scheduled, organized together with Municipio 9 to celebrate sport for peace, inclusion and the fight against all mafias. The tournament will be held, in fact, at the Iseo Center, a property confiscated from organized crime, and will take place during a day that at the city level will be dedicated to the assets confiscated from the mafia. To conclude a party with evening of music and DJ set.

It is created in collaboration with the Guarantor for the rights of children and adolescents of the Municipality of Milano, the Mayor's Delegate for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Milano, Municipio 9, Fondazione Riccardo Catella which is a cultural partner and the precious support of EOS – Edison Orizzonte Sociale and BIC®.

Zero5, and Comunità Nuova onlus; Municipio 9, YouSport, Milano Sports, Amateurs Rugby Milano, Real Affori, Rugby Milano, partners of the Peace Tournament and the Youth Aggregation Center l'Amico Charlie ETS, RIL factory, and Fondazione Aquilone, who will produce the concert and DJ set FilRouge.
