“Are you Alice?”, the show for the Vita Independent Foundation.
Modena, Friday 6 October, at 20.30pm, the company Twinkly, which combines theater and different skills, brings to the stage of the Teatro Michelangelo in Modena “Are you Alice?”, an extraordinary theatrical show that questions common sense and encourages us to look at the world from a different perspective going beyond appearances.
Part of the proceeds from the evening, which takes place under the patronage of Municipality of Modena, will be donated to Independent Life Foundation, an entity created with the aim of supporting and developing personal and housing autonomy projects aimed at people with disabilities. Independent Life Foundation – whose founding members are Aisla, Anfass, Aut Aut, Insieme a Noi, Uildm, Charitas Institute and Municipality of Modena – is in fact engaged in various projects designed to increase the levels of autonomy of people with disabilities, up to the activation of independent living experiences.
Taking to the stage of the Michelangelo theater on the evening of 6 October will be the children of the Twinkly theater company, a project of theHabilitas aps association, that offers opportunities for creativity and development; children with and without disabilities work together, who participate, compare, get involved through art and theatrical language.
The text "Are you Alice?", written by Valerio Boni and Chiara Gatti, respectively president and vice-president of the Habilitas aps association, as well as directors of the show, is freely inspired by the book by Giacomo Mazzariol "My brother chases the dinosaurs” and from the reflections of the guys from the Twinkly company. The actors are therefore not only the performers of a text but themselves creators of representation.
Love, friendship, the value of family, diversity, uniqueness and the importance of affection towards loved ones areThese are the themes that will gradually emerge during the show. The evening represents a singular opportunity for the actors to express emotions and passions through theatrical language, showing their special aptitudes; for the public present it will be the opportunity to participate in the construction of an inclusive and authentic space, where differences do not distance but bring closer, creating a ground for meeting and discussion.
