«Thanks to the commitment of the 150 volunteers of the Vicenza Festival Coordination, composed of Jamrock, Lumen, Riviera Folk, From Disco To Disco and Spiorock, who worked in close contact with the administration, we created a great event that brought the Parco della Pace to life with cultural, sporting, musical and social proposals – declares the councilor for youth policies Leonardo Nicolai -. Despite the uncertain weather that characterized the four days and also the rain, which fell at some crucial moments such as just before the start of the concerts on Saturday evening, there were many people who went to the Festival to try out the sports activities, attend the conferences, have fun with live music and DJ sets or even just to spend some time socializing. Last year's edition represented an important first experiment in using the Park, which was followed by several events. This year we wanted to go further, using areas that had never been used before, such as the parking lot in the former landing strip and the airport, and dedicating the green areas to sports activities and socializing. Once again, therefore, with Hangar Palooza we are leading the way, not only enhancing the Peace Park, but also discovering new opportunities and features that this area can offer the city by creating a strong identity bond between the Park and the Festival".
