Verona: civic museums, Sunday 4 February entry for 1 euro and the "tourist in my city" initiative returns.

The initiative promoted every first weekend from November to March continues to offer citizens and tourists the opportunity to discover, at a special price, the treasures of art and history kept in the Civic Museums of Verona.

On Sunday 4 February, with the discounted rate of 1 euro per person, it will be possible to access all the city's civic museums: Juliet's House, Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery, Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre, Cavalcaselle Fresco Museum and Juliet's Tomb , Castelvecchio Museum, Natural History Museum, Maffeiano Lapidary Museum and Torre dei Lamberti (reservations by calling the number 045 9273027)

For Juliet's House, tickets will only be available online - while supplies last - on the website museiverona.com. However, it is advisable to purchase the ticket online in advance also to visit the other museums.

Furthermore, with the initiative 'Tourist in my city', it will be possible to participate in guided tours by reservation in various museum locations. The cost of each single visit is 5 € plus the entrance fee.

Sunday February 4 seven one-hour visits will be offered: at 9.30am Juliet's House, at 11am the Maffeiano Lapidary Museum, at 11.30am the Achille Forti Palazzo della Ragione Gallery of Modern Art, at 15pm the “GB Cavalcaselle” Fresco Museum, at 15.30 pm the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre, at 16 pm the Natural History Museum and at 16.30 pm the Castelvecchio Museum.

Places are limited and registration is mandatory by 13pm on Saturday 3 February: Educational secretariat of the Civic Museums of Verona, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 13pm and from 14pm to 16pm.
