Venice: Regional Council allocates almost 5 million for Early Childhood vouchers
Councillor Lanzarin announces support for families and children in nurseries, with vouchers ranging from 900 to 1.300 euros thanks to the introduction of the "family factor" for calculating the benefits.
Venice: Regional Council allocates almost 5 million for Early Childhood vouchers.
"For the fourth consecutive year, the Regional Council has approved support for families with boys and girls who attend early childhood services, applying the "family factor", a synthetic indicator of the income and assets situation that, compared to the traditional ISEE, presents more complex equivalence scales, capable of capturing the multiple dimensions of need more precisely, for example by recognizing a score for the parent who looks after the children alone, considering, based on the severity, the presence of disabilities, or taking into account the presence of twin children. An indicator that we introduced on an experimental basis in 2021 and that we have decided to confirm also for 2024".
He explains it Councillor for Health and Social Affairs Manuela Lanzarin commenting on the resolution with which the Regional Council decided to allocate 4,766.481 euros to provide vouchers for access to early childhood services (0-3 years) through the application of the "Family Factor" to the ISEE.
The one-off contribution may vary from a minimum of 900 euros to a maximum of 1.300 euros for a minor attending a service dedicated to the 0-3 age group between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025.
The voucher will be provided through the 21 Social Territorial Areas present in each province of Veneto. The ATS will be responsible for disseminating the measure and collecting requests between 1 April and 15 May 2025, of the analysis of the applications with respect to the access requirements and of the definition of the final ranking.
