Veneto: XVI edition of the Veneto Mystery Shows Festival 2024, from October 26th to December 1st 

“This Festival represents a reality that over the years has consolidated significantly with a new vitality and a new involvement of our territories thanks to the irreplaceable and extraordinarily important action of the UNPLI Veneto and the Proloco involved throughout the regional territory for approximately 78 scheduled events. Greetings and thanks Alberto Toso Fei, artistic director of this renowned festival since its inception, now in its 16th edition. The theme, linked to "earth" and "air", will be a common thread that will allow us to discover stories, traditions, tales, suggestions and legends which often become reality. Not everything can be governed by rationality, mystery is essential to explore unexplored parts of ourselves. It is not just fantasy, but something that has had a strong impact on the values ​​that we all share today to live and interpret reality and our being Venetian".

With these words, the Councillor for Culture of the Veneto Region Cristiano Corazzari He spoke in Venice, at the State Archives, at the press conference to present the 16th edition of the Veneto Spettacoli di Mistero Festival 2024, scheduled from 26 October to 1 December in all seven provinces of Veneto. The event, supported by the Veneto Region and created in collaboration with the UNPLI Veneto Regional Committee, this year stages Venetian legends and mysteries linked to "earth" and "air", elements that will be the common thread of all the events in the 2024 program (updated on the website www.spettacolidimistero.it).

"Through stories, legends and mysteries, traditions and cultural identities were consolidated in the past around which the communities that gave birth to the Veneto and the social character of our community recognized themselves. We aim to rediscover the collective imagination of the Veneto dating back to a time long before celebrations like Halloween. This festival dedicated to the legendary and mysterious places of Veneto, among the most original of the regional cultural panorama that we continue to support year after year, also allows us to get closer to unknown excellences, a facet of Veneto that is not usually shown in traditional tourist itineraries. I sincerely thank all the volunteers of the Proloco who work for the success of the initiative and, in particular, Fabrizio Tonon, president of UNPLI Venezia and referent of the event and Rino Furlan, new president of UNPLI Veneto”, concludes the councilor Armorers.
