Varese hosts two workshops of the M.Art.E association in July.

In the month of July Varese hosts two intensive workshops dedicated to creative writing and acting. The two courses will be held in the suggestive venue of Villa Panza: the Acting Workshop with Gabriele Di Luca, director, actor and playwright, will be on 1st and 2nd July, while the Creative Writing Workshop with Francesca Garolla, director and author, will be on 15th and 16th July. The initiative, with the patronage of the Municipality of Varese, is promoted by MARS, the performing arts school strongly linked to professional artistic training, which has chosen to focus its summer workshops on two artists from Varese, excellences on the national scene.

“An initiative that explores the world of entertainment and the stage from different points of view, ranging from writing to acting – explains the Councilor for Culture Enzo Laforgia – addressing a young audience and placing emphasis on the professional qualifications of the teachers”.

“We think it's time to highlight the true excellence of our area, bringing them back to work at home.” The artistic director of M.Art.E Lia Locatelli says: “The artistic esteem I have for these two professionals from Varese led me to contact them to propose this beautiful training initiative, open to our students but also to outsiders. We will be hosted by a magical, dreamlike place, where, of course, there will be no shortage of inspiration for new creative ideas: the evocative location of Villa Panza. Four days of artistic residency, a rare and precious opportunity, absolutely not to be missed!”

M.Art.E, a reality born during the pandemic thanks to the ambition of young Varese professionals in the sector, has established itself as a leading association, which includes among its members the most qualified young talents in the performing arts of our province.

“M.Art.E is growing, and we want the growth to continue with ever greater quality” underlines Caterina Rossi, organizational director of the school. “Working with these two professionals in a prestigious location like Villa Panza represents a unique experience, a prestigious event not only for the participants, but for the entire city of Varese. These are the events we love to organize, this is the proactive and active face of Varese that we love to experience.”
The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Varese, is part of the constant support that the Administration has shown to the Association since its birth.

The workshops will be held during two entire weekends in July: the Acting Workshop with Gabriele Di Luca the 1st and 2nd July, and the Creative Writing Workshop with Francesca Garolla on 15 and 16 July.
