THOUSAND YEARS OF HISTORY – “The Valle dei Segni Wine Trail is much more than a sports competition: it represents an opportunity to immerse yourself in the extraordinary beauty of Valle Camonica, a territory that combines ancient history, enchanting landscapes and a rich food and wine tradition – explains Mazzali -. Valle Camonica, also known for its UNESCO heritage rock carvings – continues the councilor – is a place where nature and culture blend harmoniously. Among vineyards, olive groves and historic villages such as Bienno and Edolo, this event offers participants the opportunity to rediscover a valley with a thousand facets, which tells its long history through the landscape and local communities”.
EXTRAORDINARY PARTICIPATION – “Each edition of the Wine Trail – Mazzali emphasizes – demonstrates how sport and tourism can be powerful tools to raise awareness of the natural and cultural heritage of this area. The participation of athletes from 15 nations is proof of how Valle Camonica manages to enchant and attract an international audience, not only for the sporting competition, but also for its beauty and hospitality. Each stage of the route, which winds between Lake Moro and the local wineries, tells the story of a territory that has managed to keep its traditions alive, but at the same time opens up with enthusiasm to the world”.
